Fredis Lara, Construction Division Manager
Keeping crews safe and clients satisfied is the name of Fredis’s game. With 20 years of construction experience—12 of them with Delta—he knows a thing or two about how to keep construction sites safe and well managed. A highly motivated individual, Fredis motivates his team of 50 construction employees to get projects done on time and within budget. He models the values of safety and excellence for his team, delivering clients the peace of mind of dependable, quality solutions. When off the job, Fredis can be found playing soccer and instilling a passion for the sport in his four daughters.
Don Hemling, Superintendent
Building and creating things has been a lifelong interest of Don’s. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, including federal contracting work and military installations. Since joining Delta in 2012, Don has brought cheer and professionalism to our team. He enjoys having a variety of responsibilities for our substation construction projects, including participating in the bid process, overseeing projects, scheduling the field crews, performing site visits, maintaining the substation equipment, and running the division meeting forums. With his expertise and insight, he’s able to foresee challenges and create a plan of action.
Alex Hemling, General Foreman
When anyone—client or crew—has questions on a jobsite, Alex is their man. With a focus on honesty and reliability in his work, Alex employs his 12 years of field experience to propose workable solutions to whatever obstacles crop up. He keeps inventory of materials and ensures the crew has the right tools for the job. As someone who loves learning, Alex brings his pursuit of knowledge to the workplace—because the more he knows, the more value he can bring to his team and clients. He also spends his spare time learning, delving most recently into CAD modeling and 3D printing. But his true passion is for building cars.
